So the US economy is headed towards a recession. The only question is how long it will last and how badly people will be affected. It will be first major economic depression for a generation. While there will be a steady demand for some products, many people will be laid off. May be if so much money had not been spent on war, things would be better.
USA has one of the largest trade deficits in the world, the dollar is sinking vis a vis all other currencies, but USA remains one of the most influential nation in the world. This is because they have succeeded in exporting their culture to almost every country in the world. My thoughts on the good, bad and ugly aspects of American culture.
